How To Become a NAHA Approved Level 1 Professional Aromatherapist:

Complete your Aromatherapy  Online Level 1 Course (which includes quizzes, assignments, a 3-5 page research paper and five case studies). You will receive a certificate when you graduate. Then, submit your Master Aromatherapy Certificate of Completion with hours completed to NAHA with application and membership dues for your NAHA Approved Level 1 Certified Aromatherapist.

Become a Professional Aromatherapist

Come away with a solid foundation in the clinical uses of essential oils and a Certificate of Completion.

In order to receive a certificate of completion, you will need to complete all of the lessons and quizzes, create blends and products covered in class, perform five case studies, and write a 3-5 page research paper on any aromatherapy topic of your choice. You will have one year to complete your course.

This Aromatherapy Online Program is accredited and surpasses the qualifications for the NAHA Level 1  Aromatherapist by The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), both leading governing bodies for national educational standards for aromatherapists.

How Long Does It Take To Become an Aromatherapist:

Compared to a college or university 3-semester credit hour course with approximately 45-50 contact hours, this course is equivalent to 3 Semester Credit Hours with 3 hours spent studying online per week and 4 hours for study time (activities and case studies) per week for a 15-week semester. Upon completing this course, you will be qualified to join the National Holistic Association of Aromatherapy and present your certificate as a NAHA Level 1 Aromatherapist.

For high school students, this course is equivalent to 1 Credit with approximately 120 hours of work including the 3-5 page research paper and five case studies which are acceptable as a lab science course as a year-long academic course.
